Description

This tuna salad is a real classic and super quick to prepare! I often make it when I need something quick or I still have tuna in stock. The salad is wonderfully creamy thanks to the yogurt and mayonnaise, but the Balsamico Bianco gives it a nice fresh note. The red onion and bell pepper provide a crunchy bite and the parsley provides a spicy note. Perfect as a light lunch, for grilling or simply as a side dish. If you like, you can add some cucumber or tomato. A great recipe for quick cooking!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 370 g Tuna in its own juice
  • 140 g Corn
  • 4 piece Eggs
  • 1 piece red Onion
  • 1 piece red Bell pepper
  • 3 tbsp chopped Parsley
  • 4 tbsp plain Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Balsamico Bianco
  • 1 pinch Salt

Preparation (5 steps)

Chop onion

Peel and quarter the red onion and place in the mixing bowl. Then chop for 3 Sec./speed 5.

Chop bell pepper

Wash, core and cut the red bell pepper into coarse pieces and place in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 Sec./speed 4.

Prepare dressing

10 sec/Speed 3

Add plain yogurt, mayonnaise, Balsamico Bianco and salt to the mixing bowl and stir for 10 Sec./speed 3.

Mix salad

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Linkslauf Speed 2 Reverse

Drain the tuna and corn and add to the mixing bowl along with the chopped parsley, onions and bell pepper. Mix for 10 Sec./reverse rotation speed 2.

Fold in eggs

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Linkslauf Speed 1 Reverse

Carefully add the hard-boiled and quartered eggs to the mixing bowl and fold in for 5 Sec./reverse rotation speed 1 so that they are not crushed too much.
