Description

This chicken gratin with vegetables and pasta is a comforting and easy to prepare recipe, ideal for a family meal. I have been making it for years and it is always a success. The combination of pasta, tender chicken and fresh vegetables, all covered with a creamy béchamel sauce, is simply delicious. It is perfect for using those vegetables that you have in the refrigerator. In addition, it can be prepared in advance and baked just before serving. A complete and nutritious dish that everyone will love!

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 200 gramos Spiral pasta
  • 140 gramos Skinless chicken breast
  • 400 gramos Fresh mixed vegetables
  • 1 packet Prepared for béchamel
  • 1 litro Skimmed milk

Preparation (7 steps)

Preheat the oven

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Cook the pasta

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Put 1 liter of water in the Thermomix bowl. Program 10 Min./100°C/Stufe 1. Add 200 g of spiral pasta and program the time indicated on the package/100°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1. Drain the pasta and reserve.

Steam the vegetables

Thermomix® Setting
20 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Put 500 ml of water in the Thermomix bowl. Place 400 g of fresh mixed vegetables in the Varoma. Program 20 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1.

Prepare the béchamel sauce

Thermomix® Setting
8 min/194°F/Speed 4 90

Pour 1 liter of skimmed milk into the Thermomix bowl. Add 1 sachet of prepared for béchamel. Program 8 Min./90°C/Stufe 4.

Cook the chicken

Cut 140 g of skinless chicken breast into cubes. In a frying pan, brown the chicken cubes over medium heat.

Mix the chicken with the béchamel

Pour the béchamel sauce over the chicken in the pan. Cook over low heat, stirring until the sauce thickens, approximately 5 minutes.

Mix and bake

In an oven-safe container, mix the cooked pasta, steamed vegetables, and chicken with béchamel mixture. Bake at 200°C for 20 minutes.
