Description

This Thermomix® cheese and bell pepper dip is a delicious and versatile dip that is ideal as finger food or an appetizer. Preparation takes only about 20 minutes, plus an hour of cooling time. The dip is vegetarian and can be spiced up with cayenne pepper as desired. Perfect for parties, snacks, or simply enjoying with vegetables, tortilla chips, or crackers.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 227 Gramm aged Cheddar cheese, in pieces
  • 227 Gramm smoked Gouda cheese, in pieces
  • 115 Gramm Mayonnaise
  • 227 Gramm soft cream cheese, in pieces
  • 227 Gramm drained roasted red bell peppers
  • 1.5 Gramm garlic powder (1/2 teaspoon)
  • 1.5 Gramm instant mustard (1/2 teaspoon)
  • cayenne pepper to taste (optional)
  • 6 Gramm dried parsley (optional)

Preparation (8 steps)

Grate cheese

Place 227 grams of aged Cheddar cheese and 227 grams of smoked Gouda cheese in pieces in the mixing bowl and chop for 10 sec/speed 7.

Remove cheese

Remove the grated cheese from the mixing bowl and set aside.

Mix ingredients

Without cleaning the mixing bowl, add 227 grams of soft cream cheese, 115 grams of mayonnaise, 1.5 grams of garlic powder, and 1.5 grams of instant mustard to the mixing bowl and mix for 30 sec/speed 4.

Add bell peppers

Add 227 grams of drained roasted red bell peppers to the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 4 so that the peppers are well distributed in the mixture.

Add grated cheese

30 sec/Speed 3

Add the grated cheese back to the mixing bowl. If you like it spicier, add a pinch of cayenne pepper. Mix for 30 sec/speed 3 so that all ingredients are well mixed.

Smooth mixture (optional)

If you want a softer texture, you can add 6 grams of dried parsley and mix for 10 sec/speed 3.

Resting time

Remove the mixture from the mixing bowl and place in an airtight container. Refrigerate for at least one hour (preferably overnight) to allow the flavors to meld.

Serve

Stir the sauce well before serving and add a little more chopped roasted peppers or parsley as a garnish if desired. Enjoy the sauce with vegetables, tortilla chips, crackers, or your favorite side. Enjoy your meal!
