Description

This rustic with pumpkin and cheese is an autumnal delight that I often prepare! The cooked pumpkin, blended into a velvety puree, combines with grated cheese to create a rich and comforting flavor. Perfect for a Sunday brunch or as a tasty appetizer, this savory loaf cake is easy to prepare and always appreciated. Its soft texture and inviting aroma make it irresistible. Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 250 g cooked pumpkin pulp
  • 2 piece eggs
  • 100 ml seed oil
  • 100 ml milk
  • 100 g grated cheese
  • 250 g flour
  • 0.5 packet instant yeast for savory pies
  • pepper
  • fine salt
  • pumpkin seeds for decoration

Preparation (7 steps)

Pumpkin in cubes

Thermomix® Setting
20 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Cut 250 g of pumpkin into cubes. Insert the cubes into the Varoma. Fill the mixing bowl with 500 ml of water. Place the Varoma and cook for 20 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1.

Pumpkin puree

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 8

Let the cooked pumpkin cool. Insert the pumpkin into the mixing bowl and blend for 20 Sek./Stufe 8 until a smooth puree is obtained.

Eggs, oil and milk

Thermomix® Setting
15 sec/Speed 4

Add 2 eggs, 100 ml of seed oil and 100 ml of milk into the mixing bowl. Mix for 15 Sek./Stufe 4.

Cheese and spices

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Add the pumpkin puree, 100 g of grated cheese, pepper to taste and fine salt to taste into the mixing bowl. Mix for 20 Sek./Stufe 4.

Flour and yeast

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Speed 5

Add 250 g of flour and ½ sachet of instant yeast for savory pies into the mixing bowl. Mix for 30 Sek./Stufe 5.

Homogeneous dough

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 4

Check that the dough is homogeneous. If necessary, mix again for 10 Sek./Stufe 4.

Baking in the oven

Pour the dough into a 25×12 centimeter loaf pan, greased and floured. Level with a spoon and decorate with pumpkin seeds to taste. Bake in a preheated ventilated oven at 170 °C for about 45 minutes or until golden brown.
