Description
This hearty Riebel semolina porridge from the Thermomix® is a vegetarian main course with Vorarlberg Riebel semolina, milk and butter. The preparation in the Thermomix® takes a total of 80 minutes, the active working time is about 20 minutes. The recipe yields 4 servings. Ideal as a filling bread dish for the whole family. Served with apple sauce and sugar a delight.

300 g Vorarlberg Riebel Semolina

600 ml Milk

2 TL Butter
-
1 TL Salt
-
2 EL Butter for frying

1 Prise Sugar

1 Becher Apple sauce
Preparation (5 steps)
Boil milk, salt and butter
Add milk, salt and butter to the mixing bowl and bring to the boil for 5 min./100°C/speed 1.
Add Riebel semolina and cook
Add the Riebel semolina and cook for 10 min./90°C/speed 2. Leave the measuring cup in place.
Let cool
Pour the porridge into a bowl and let it cool, covered, for at least 1 hour.
Roast Riebel
Heat 2 tbsp butter in a large frying pan. Add the solidified porridge to the pan and fry until crispy, crumbling and turning frequently.
Serve
Enjoy the Riebel with sugar and apple sauce.
