Description

This high-protein, Asian-inspired shrimp omelette from the Thermomix® is a quick and easy main course with shrimp, eggs, and fresh sprouts. Refined with scallions, soy sauce, and Sambal Oelek, it is ideal for lovers of hearty cuisine. Prepared in just 25 minutes, the recipe yields 2 servings. Perfect for a light meal after a workout or as a quick family dinner.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 4 Stück Egg whites
  • 2 Stück Egg yolks
  • 100 g Shrimp (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 Stück Scallions
  • 100 g Mung bean or other sprouts
  • Sambal oelek
  • Soy sauce

Preparation (6 steps)

Whisk eggs

Add 4 egg whites, 2 egg yolks and soy sauce to the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec/speed 3.

Prepare shrimp

Cut 100g shrimp (fresh or frozen) into pieces.

Prepare vegetables

Prepare 2 scallions and 100g mung bean or other sprouts.

Fry shrimp

Fry the shrimp pieces in a non-stick pan without fat.

Let the omelette set

Add the fried shrimp pieces, scallions and sprouts to the egg mixture in the mixing bowl. Let the egg mixture set in a coated pan for about 8 minutes.

Serve omelette

Cut the omelette into strips and drizzle with some soy sauce and Sambal oelek.
