Description

This eggless vanilla flan is a smooth and creamy delight, perfect for any occasion. The recipe is very simple and is prepared in a short time with the Thermomix®. The touch of vanilla gives it an irresistible aroma, and the texture is simply perfect. Ideal for those looking for a light and uncomplicated dessert. I often prepare it for my guests and it is always a success. Go ahead and try it, you will love it! It is also a fantastic option for people with gluten or lactose intolerance, as it can be easily adapted.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 500 mililitros Whole milk
  • 8 cucharaditas Sugar
  • 2 sobres Unflavored gelatin
  • 1 piece Orange
  • 2 cucharaditas Vanilla extract
  • 1 piece Liquid caramel
  • 200 gramos Sugar
  • 3 cucharadas soperas Water

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare the liquid caramel

In a pan, add 200 grams of sugar and 3 tablespoons of water. Cook over medium heat until a golden and thick caramel is obtained. Pour the caramel into the individual flan molds and refrigerate to harden.

Infuse the milk with orange

Thermomix® Setting
8 min/194°F/Velocidad 1 90

Pour 500 ml of whole milk into the Thermomix glass. Add the peel of one orange (without the white part). Program 8 Min./90°C/Speed 1 to infuse the milk with the aroma of the orange.

Add gelatin and vanilla

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/140°F/Velocidad 2 60

Add 2 envelopes of unflavored gelatin and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract to the Thermomix glass. Program 3 Min./60°C/Speed 2 to dissolve the gelatin completely. Make sure the milk does not boil.

Sweeten and mix

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/Velocidad 3

Add 8 teaspoons of sugar to the Thermomix glass. Program 1 Min./Speed 3 to dissolve the sugar completely and mix all the ingredients.

Pour into molds and refrigerate

Pour the mixture into the individual molds over the hardened caramel. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the flan is firm.

Unmold and serve

To unmold, run a knife around the edges of the flan and flip onto a plate. Decorate with orange peels if desired. Serve cold.
