Description
These simple butter biscuits from the Thermomix® are the perfect snack for parties, Christmas or just in between. The main ingredients are flour, butter, icing sugar and egg yolk. With the Thermomix®, the preparation of the dough is quick and easy. The baking time, including cooling time, is about 130 minutes and yields about 100 cookies. Ideal for the whole family and anyone who loves sweet biscuits.

750 g Flour

500 g Butter

250 g Icing sugar

3 Egg yolk

1 Pck. Baking powder

1 Prise(n) Salt

2 Egg yolk

100 g Chocolate sprinkles or colorful sprinkles
Preparation (7 steps)
Mix ingredients
Add 750g flour, 500g butter, 250g icing sugar, 3 egg yolks, 1 pack baking powder and 1 pinch of salt to the mixing bowl.
Knead dough
Knead for 2 min./kneading level.
Chill dough
Remove the dough from the mixing bowl, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Roll out and cut out dough
Roll out the chilled dough thinly and cut out different shapes.
Whisk egg yolks
Add 2 egg yolks to the mixing bowl and whisk for 10 sec./speed 3.
Brush and decorate biscuits
Brush the cut out biscuits with the whisked egg yolk and decorate with 100g chocolate sprinkles or colorful sprinkles.
Bake biscuits
Bake the biscuits in a preheated oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for about 10 minutes.
