Description

This oatmeal is a wonderful start to the day! The combination of warm oatmeal, fresh kiwis and raspberries, crunchy almonds and coconut chips is simply unbeatable. I love how the acidity of the kiwis and raspberries harmonizes perfectly with the sweetness of the applesauce. The oatmeal is quick to prepare and keeps you full for a long time. Perfect for a cozy weekend breakfast or as a nutritious meal during the week. Vary the recipe as you wish with other fruits or nuts!

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 12 tbsp Oat flakes
  • 300 ml Milk
  • 4 tbsp Applesauce
  • 100 g Flaked almonds
  • 4 piece KIWIS Zespri Green
  • 125 g Raspberries
  • 50 g Coconut chips

Preparation (5 steps)

Boil oat flakes and milk

Add 12 tbsp of oat flakes and 300 ml of milk to the mixing bowl and cook for 5 min./100°C/speed 1.

Stir in applesauce

Add 4 tbsp of applesauce and stir in for 20 sec./speed 2.

Roast almonds

Roast 100 g of flaked almonds in a pan without fat until golden yellow. Please carry out this step outside of the Thermomix.

Prepare fruits

Peel 4 kiwis, halve and slice. Wash 125 g raspberries. Please carry out this step outside of the Thermomix.

Arrange porridge

Divide porridge onto bowls, spread almonds, kiwis, raspberries and 50 g coconut chips on top. Please carry out this step outside of the Thermomix.
