Description

This recipe for chicken legs in herb-milk marinade is a real treat! I've been making it for a while and it's always a hit. The chicken legs are marinated overnight in an aromatic marinade of milk, fresh herbs and garlic, which makes them incredibly tender and juicy. The marinade gives the chicken a subtle but delicious flavor. Perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends or family. The preparation is very simple, only the long marinating time must be observed. An absolute must for all chicken lovers!

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Chicken legs
  • 0.5 l Milk
  • Thyme
  • Bay leaf
  • 3 Zehen Garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare garlic

Thermomix® Setting

Peel 3 cloves of garlic and put them in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 seconds/speed 7. Scrape down the side with the spatula.

Prepare chicken

Remove the skin from 4 chicken legs and halve them on a cutting board.

Prepare marinade

Place the halved chicken legs in a large bowl. Add the chopped garlic, thyme and 2 bay leaves.

Marinate

Pour 0.5 l of milk over the chicken legs and stir with a spatula so that all parts are covered. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 12 hours (overnight).

Deep fry

The next day, remove the marinated chicken from the refrigerator. Heat oil in a deep fryer and fry the chicken pieces in it until golden brown.
