Description

Dieses Hähnchen-Bohnen-Chili ist ein echtes Wohlfühlgericht für kalte Tage! Ich mache es besonders gerne, wenn ich Gäste erwarte, da es sich super vorbereiten lässt. Die Kombination aus zartem Hähnchen, cremigen weißen Bohnen und einer angenehmen Schärfe ist einfach unschlagbar. Ein Schuss Limettensaft und frischer Koriander runden das Ganze perfekt ab. Wer es nicht so scharf mag, kann das Chipotle-Chilipulver einfach weglassen. Ein Klecks saure Sahne macht das Chili noch cremiger. Perfekt für ein gemütliches Abendessen mit Freunden oder der Familie!

  • 2 piece boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1 piece large onion, diced

  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp chipotle pepper powder
  • 0.25 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp fine cornmeal
  • 2 cup chicken broth, divided
  • 2 can white beans, drained (15 ounce)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 0.25 tsp white sugar, or to taste
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste
  • 0.33 cup chopped green onions
  • 0.33 cup sour cream
  • 0.33 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Preparation (9 steps)

Hähnchen vorbereiten

Heat 1 teaspoon vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken breasts and cook until browned, about 4 minutes. Reduce heat to medium, flip breasts, cover the pan, and cook until browned on the other side, about 5 minutes. Remove to a plate and allow to cool before chopping into cubes.
