Description

The Fire Tongs Punch is a festive drink, especially popular in the winter and for occasions such as Christmas and New Year's Eve. This recipe combines red wine with the juice of oranges and lemons, refined with rum, cloves and cinnamon. The preparation takes about 30 minutes and is easy to implement. Ideal for cozy evenings and festive gatherings.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 2 Flaschen Red wine
  • 2 Stück Oranges
  • 1 Stück Lemon
  • 250 g Sugar loaf
  • 0.5 Flasche 54% rum
  • Cloves
  • Cinnamon

Preparation (4 steps)

Squeeze oranges and lemon

Squeeze the oranges and lemon and set the juice aside.

Mix and heat red wine and juice

Put 2 bottles of red wine and the squeezed juice of 2 oranges and 1 lemon into the mixing bowl and heat for 10 min./70°C/speed 2.

Prepare sugar loaf

Place 1 sugar loaf (250 g) over the pot.

Soak and light sugar loaf

Pour 1/2 bottle of 54% rum over the sugar loaf and light it. If necessary, add cloves and cinnamon to the mixture.
