Description

These caramel spiced chicken wings are a real treat! I often prepare them for appetizers with friends or for a quick and tasty dinner. The marinade based on soy sauce, nuoc mâm and chili powder gives them an irresistible Asian taste. The secret is to let them marinate for at least 30 minutes so that they soak up the flavors well. Then, cook in a pan to caramelize them and make them crispy. Served with rice, it's a complete and delicious meal. A simple, quick and always appreciated dish!

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 2 kg Chicken wing(s)
  • to taste Soy sauce
  • to taste Nuoc mâm
  • to taste Water
  • to taste Icing sugar
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • to taste Chili powder

Preparation of chicken wings

On a cutting board, cut the chicken wings, separating the pieces if necessary. This step allows for better cooking and easier tasting.

Put the 2 cloves of garlic in the bowl and chop finely for 3 Sec./Stufe 7.

Marinating chicken wings

In a bowl, mix the chicken wings with the chopped garlic, 4 tbsp of soy sauce, 2 tbsp of nuoc mâm, 4 tbsp of icing sugar, 2 pinches of chili powder and 2 tbsp of water. Mix well so that the wings are well coated with marinade. Let stand for 30 minutes in the refrigerator for the flavors to develop.

Cooking chicken wings

Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken wings and brown them, turning them regularly until they are golden brown. Reduce the heat and finish cooking over low heat, partially covering the pan, until the wings are cooked through.
