Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 300 g short, thick macaroni
  • Salt
  • 300 g peeled and sliced potatoes
  • 175 g diced bacon
  • Pepper
  • a little nutmeg
  • 100 g grated cheese (Sbrinz)
  • 2 Stück Onion
  • 50 g Butter
  • 1 Becher Cream
  • 1 Becher Sour cream or Creme fraiche

Preparation (8 steps)

Cook macaroni and potatoes

Thermomix® Setting

Put 300 g short, thick macaroni and 300 g peeled and sliced potatoes in salted water in the simmering basket. Put 500 ml water in the mixing bowl, insert the simmering basket and cook for 15 min./100°C/speed 1.

Fry bacon

Fry 150 g diced bacon in a separate frying pan until translucent.

Season cream

Put 2 dl cream in the mixing bowl, season with pepper and a little nutmeg and heat for 3 min./90°C/speed 1.

Prepare onions

Cut 1/2 onion into strips.

Sauté onions

Heat 50 g butter in a pan and sauté the onions in it until golden brown.

Mix macaroni, potatoes and cream

Mix the macaroni and potatoes with the cream.

Layering

Layer the macaroni and potatoes alternately with the 100 g grated cheese in a bowl.

Serve

Sprinkle the roasted onions over the dish and serve.
