Description

This recipe for Pork Loin with Apples is a real treat! I especially like to make it in the fall when the apples are fresh from the tree. The pork becomes wonderfully tender and juicy, while the apples add a sweet and slightly sour note. The rosemary gives the dish a wonderful spice. Perfect for a festive dinner or a special occasion. Preparation with the Thermomix® is child's play and saves time. An absolute must for all lovers of Italian cuisine!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 800 g pork loin
  • 2 piece apples
  • 1 piece carrots
  • 2 piece shallot
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 l vegetable broth
  • rosemary
  • olive oil
  • pepper
  • fine salt

Apples, shallot and carrots in pieces

The peeled and cored apples, the shallot and the carrot cut into coarse pieces are placed in the bowl. Close the lid and chop for 5 Sec./Level 5.

Sauté the garlic

Thermomix® Setting

Pour the olive oil into the bowl, add the clove of garlic and sauté for 3 Min./120°C/Level 1.

Seal the pork loin

Remove the garlic from the bowl. In a separate pan, brown the pork loin in olive oil on all sides until golden brown. Transfer the pork loin to the bowl.

Add the ingredients

Add the apples, shallot, carrot, rosemary, salt, pepper and vegetable broth to the bowl.

Cook the pork loin

30 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Close the lid and cook for 30 Min./100°C/Level 1.

Turn and continue cooking

Turn the pork loin and cook for another 30 Min./100°C/Level 1.

Prepare the roast

Wrap the roast in a sheet of aluminum foil and let it rest.

Blend the sauce

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Speed 8

Remove the rosemary from the bowl. Blend the contents for 30 Sec./Level 8 until you get a smooth sauce.

Serve

Cut the roast into thin slices and arrange them on a serving dish. Pour the apple sauce over it and decorate with fresh rosemary.
