Description

This recipe for homemade bars is a delicious alternative to store-bought sweets. The combination of rice cakes, hazelnuts, white chocolate, puffed rice and whole milk chocolate makes these bars a special treat. Preparation with the Thermomix® is quick and easy. Ideal for children's birthdays or as a sweet snack in between. The bars are ready in about 60 minutes and yield about 12 servings.

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 100 g Rice cakes
  • 50 g Hazelnuts
  • 200 g White chocolate
  • 200 g Whole milk chocolate
  • 50 g Puffed rice

Preparation (9 steps)

Chop rice cakes

Put 100 g rice cakes into the mixing bowl and chop for 8 sec./level 6. If necessary, push down with the spatula and repeat the process until the desired consistency is reached.

Chop hazelnuts

Put 50 g hazelnuts into the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./level 5. If necessary, push down with the spatula and repeat the process until the desired consistency is reached.

Mix rice cakes and hazelnuts

Pour the chopped rice cakes and hazelnuts into a bowl and mix.

Melt white chocolate

5 sec/Speed 7, dann 4 min/122°F/Speed 2 122°F

Put 200 g white chocolate in pieces into the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./level 7. Then melt for 4 min./50°C/level 2.

Melt milk chocolate

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 7, dann 4 min/122°F/Speed 2 122°F

Put 200 g whole milk chocolate in pieces into the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./level 7. Then melt for 4 min./50°C/level 2.

Add puffed rice

Thermomix® Setting
15 sec/Linkslauf/Speed 2 Reverse

Add 50 g puffed rice to the melted white chocolate in the mixing bowl and stir in for 15 sec./reverse/level 2.

Add rice cake-nut mixture

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Linkslauf/Speed 3 Reverse

Add the rice cake-hazelnut mixture to the white chocolate and puffed rice in the mixing bowl and stir in for 20 sec./reverse/level 3.

Shape bars

Spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and form into a rectangle. Spread the melted whole milk chocolate over it.

Cool

Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes until the chocolate has set. Then cut into bars.
