Description

Diese kleinen, pikanten Maisküchlein sind ein absoluter Hit auf jeder Party! Ich mache sie total gerne, weil sie so einfach und schnell zubereitet sind. Der süße Mais, die Schärfe des Chili und die Würze des Käses harmonieren perfekt. Sie sind vegetarisch und schmecken sowohl warm als auch kalt. Ideal für einen Brunch mit Freunden oder als kleiner Snack zwischendurch. Wer es noch etwas frischer mag, kann noch einen Klecks saure Sahne und etwas Limettensaft dazu servieren. Ein absolutes Lieblingsrezept, das bei mir immer gut ankommt!

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 15.25 ounce can corn, drained
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 piece large egg
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 0.5 piece red onion, minced
  • 0.5 cup cotija cheese
  • 3 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 0.75 tsp chili powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp granulated garlic
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp lime juice

Corn and Batter Preparation

Separate ½ cup of corn and set aside. Pour the remaining corn (1 can - ½ cup) into the Thermomix bowl. Add ½ cup all-purpose flour, 1 large egg, 2 tbsp sour cream, and 1 tbsp mayonnaise. Pulse until the mixture is incorporated. Set 10 Sec./Stufe 5.

Mixing the Fritter Batter

Pour the contents of the Thermomix bowl into a mixing bowl. Add the reserved ½ cup corn, ½ minced red onion, ½ cup cotija cheese, 3 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro, 1 tbsp lime juice, ¾ tsp chili powder, ½ tsp salt, and ½ tsp granulated garlic. Mix well by hand until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Air Frying the Fritters

Preheat an air fryer to 370 degrees F (190 degrees C). Place a perforated parchment liner into the air fryer. Using a scoop, place 2-tablespoon dollops of fritter mixture into the basket. Air-fry fritters for 12 minutes, flipping at the halfway mark.

Serving

Serve the fritters warm with 3 tbsp sour cream and 1 tbsp lime juice.
