Description

These sesame cookies are a true treasure of tradition! I often prepare them for breakfast or to accompany afternoon tea. The recipe is simple and quick, perfect for those who have little time but do not want to give up a homemade dessert. The toasted sesame gives a unique flavor and an irresistible crunch. They are ideal for dipping in milk or coffee, but also to be enjoyed alone as a snack. Preparation with the Thermomix® makes them even easier and faster to make. Try them, they will win you over!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 250 g 00 flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 80 g lard
  • 1 piece eggs _large_
  • 1 tsp instant yeast for biscuits
  • 1 ml lemon flavoring
  • 120 g sesame seeds
  • 1 pinch fine salt

Ingredients in the bowl

Pour into the bowl 250 g of 00 flour, 100 g of sugar, 1 teaspoon of instant yeast for biscuits, 80 g of lard, 1 large egg, 1 pinch of fine salt and 1 ml of lemon flavoring.

Form the cookies

Transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface. Form a sausage shape and cut it into chunks. Dip each chunk in sesame seeds.

Baking in the oven

Arrange the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
