Description

These puff pastry pockets with poultry filling are a real hit for any party or as a small snack in between! I have been making them for years and they are always a hit. The combination of the crispy puff pastry and the creamy filling with poultry and herb cheese is simply irresistible. The preparation is very easy and very quick with the Thermomix®. Perfect if you get spontaneous guests again or just feel like something hearty. An absolute favorite recipe!

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • to taste Grated cheese
  • 1 container Garlic and herb cheese
  • 4 slice Poultry
  • 1 piece Puff pastry

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare poultry

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 5

Place 4 slices of poultry in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 5. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.

Mix cheese

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Place grated cheese and 1 pot of herb cheese in the mixing bowl and stir for 10 sec./speed 3. Add the chopped poultry and mix for another 5 sec./speed 3.

Prepare filling

Transfer the cheese-poultry mixture to a bowl and mix well.

Fill puff pastry

Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 6 squares. Place a spoonful of the filling on each square. Fold the squares into triangles and press the edges firmly.

Bake

Place the filled puff pastry pockets on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C top/bottom heat for approx. 20 minutes until golden brown.
