Description

These broccoli and cheese fritters are a delicious and healthy option for a snack or a light dinner. I have been preparing this recipe for years and it is always a success at home. The broccoli, combined with the cheese and oatmeal, creates a creamy texture and an irresistible flavour. They are perfect for those looking for a vegetarian and protein-rich alternative. In addition, they are prepared in a short time with the Thermomix®, which makes them an ideal option for any day of the week. Go ahead and try them, you will love them! You can serve them with your favourite sauce or simply enjoy them alone.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 1 piece medium broccoli
  • 2 piece eggs
  • 0.5 cup ground oats
  • 50 gramos grated cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • oil

Broccoli cooking

5 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Wash and cut the broccoli into small florets. Place 500 ml of water in the Thermomix bowl. Place the broccoli in the Varoma container and place it on the bowl. Cook for 5 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1.

Broccoli crushing

Remove the broccoli from the Varoma and drain it well. Let it cool a little. Place the cooked broccoli in the Thermomix bowl and crush for 3 Sek./Stufe 4. It is important that it does not become a puree.

Mixing ingredients

10 sec/Speed 3

Add 2 eggs, ½ cup of ground oats, 50 grams of grated cheese, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste to the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 10 Sek./Stufe 3.

Fritters formation

Remove the mixture from the Thermomix bowl. With your hands, form small balls with the mixture and press lightly so that they are the size of the palm of your hand.

Fritters frying

Heat a little oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the fritters for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and slightly crispy.

Rest and serve

Once golden brown, let the fritters rest for a couple of minutes on absorbent paper. Accompany with the sauce of your choice and serve.
