Description

Chicken Skewers India are a hearty main course from the Thermomix® with chicken, yogurt, ginger, garlic, and Garam Masala. The recipe is low carb and low fat and is ideal for grilling or a party. The preparation time is 35 minutes, of which 20 minutes is working time, and yields 10 servings. Perfect for light cuisine or as a protein-rich family meal.

Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 2 Stück Garlic cloves
  • 1 cm Ginger
  • 70 g Yogurt
  • 3 EL Olive oil
  • 1 Stück Lime, juice of
  • 2 TL Honey
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 1 TL Garam Masala
  • 1 TL Chili powder
  • 1 TL Turmeric powder
  • 500 g Chicken breast fillet, in pieces
  • 1 Stück Freezer bag
  • 10 Stück Wooden skewers

Preparation (4 steps)

Chop garlic and ginger

Place 2 garlic cloves and 1 cm of ginger in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 8. Scrape down the sides with the spatula.

Prepare marinade

Add 70 g yogurt, 3 tbsp olive oil, juice of 1 lime, 2 tsp honey, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp Garam Masala, 1 tsp chili powder, and 1 tsp turmeric powder and stir for 20 sec./speed 3.

Marinate meat

Place 500 g chicken breast fillet in pieces and the marinade together in a freezer bag, mix well and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Grill chicken skewers

Thread the meat onto the wooden skewers. In the meantime, preheat the grill. Grill skewers over indirect heat for 10-15 minutes, turning several times, then serve.
