Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 2 cups water
  • 0.5 cup white rice
  • 2.6666666666667 cups whole milk
  • 3 piece large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 packet cook-and-serve vanilla pudding mix (4-serving size)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Preparation (4 steps)

Cook the rice

Thermomix® Setting

Add 2 cups of water and ½ cup of white rice to the mixing bowl and cook for 20 Min./100°C/Speed 1.

Preheat oven and prepare baking dish

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease an 8-inch square baking dish. Set aside.

Combine ingredients

Add 2 ⅔ cups of whole milk, 3 large eggs (slightly beaten), ½ cup of white sugar, 1 (4-serving size) package of cook-and-serve vanilla pudding mix, 1 tablespoon of butter, ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract, and ½ teaspoon of salt to the mixing bowl with the cooked rice. Mix for 20 Sec./Speed 3.

Transfer to baking dish and bake

Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until a knife inserted into the pudding comes out clean.
