Description

Burgers with beef patties are a hearty main course from the Thermomix® made with ground beef, brioche buns, and cheddar cheese. Garlic, salt, and paprika provide the right seasoning. This recipe is ideal for student cooking, as a quick snack, or for the next party. Ready in just 30 minutes for 4 servings.

Ingredients (15 ingredients)

  • 4 Stück Brioche burger buns
  • 500 g Ground beef
  • 1 Stück Garlic clove
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 1 TL Sweet paprika powder
  • 1 TL Neutral vegetable oil
  • 4 Scheiben Cheddar cheese
  • 60 g Mayonnaise
  • 10 g Medium-hot mustard
  • 2 TL Ketchup
  • 0.5 TL Pickle juice
  • 4 Stück Lettuce leaves
  • 2 Stück Vine tomatoes
  • 1 Stück Red onion
  • 4 Stück Pickles

Preparation (8 steps)

Chop garlic (optional)

If desired, add 1 small clove of garlic to the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 7. Scrape down the sides with the spatula.

Prepare ground beef

Place 500 g ground beef in a bowl. Add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp sweet paprika powder. If using garlic, add it as well. Mix everything together well.

Form patties

For 1 patty, weigh out approx. 125 g of the ground beef and form into a flat disc. If desired, a burger press can also be used for this.

Fry patties

Heat 1 tsp neutral vegetable oil in a large coated pan, spread it around, and fry the four burger patties on each side over high to medium heat for approx. 3-4 minutes. Towards the end, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty if desired.

Warm burger buns

Cut the burger buns in half and briefly warm on a toaster attachment, in the oven at 80 °C convection or in the air fryer (warming function) at 130 °C for approx. 1 minute.

Prepare burger sauce

Thermomix® Setting

Place 60 g mayonnaise, 10 g mustard, 2 tsp ketchup, and 1/2 tsp pickle juice in the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec./speed 3.

Prepare toppings

Peel 1 red onion and cut into fine rings. Cut 4 pickles into fine strips. Wash 2 vine tomatoes, remove the stalk, and cut into slices of any desired thickness. Wash 4 lettuce leaves and dry well.

Assemble burger

Spread burger sauce (approx. 2 - 3 tsp) on the bottom half of the burger bun. Top with 1 lettuce leaf, 1-2 slices of tomatoes, onion rings, pickle slices, and the hot patty (with or without cheese). Finish with the top half of the burger bun.
