Description

This delicate vanilla cream is an absolute classic and can be used in many ways! I often make it to fill cakes or simply as a topping for fresh fruit. The preparation is very simple, but the taste is incredibly refined. The fresh cream in combination with the vanilla aroma makes this cream a real highlight. It tastes particularly good if you let the cream infuse with the vanilla overnight. This allows the aroma to develop even better. Perfect for special occasions or just to treat yourself! And the best thing: it's ready in no time at all.

Ingredients (3 ingredients)

  • 500 ml Fresh liquid cream
  • 50 g Icing sugar
  • 1 piece Vanilla bean

Preparation (4 steps)

Prepare vanilla

Slit the vanilla bean lengthwise with a knife. Carefully open with your fingers and scrape out the vanilla pulp with the tip of a teaspoon.

Flavor the cream

Put the fresh, liquid cream together with the vanilla pulp in the mixing bowl and stir for 2 sec./speed 2. Cover the mixing bowl with cling film and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or even better overnight.

Whip cream

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Speed 3.5

Insert the butterfly. Place the well-chilled and flavored cream in the mixing bowl and whisk for 2 min./speed 3.5. While whisking, gradually add the icing sugar through the lid opening until the cream has reached the desired consistency.

Refine Crema Chantilly

Fill the finished Crema Chantilly into a piping bag and use as desired.
