Description

These chicken and avocado tortillas are a quick and easy-to-prepare delight, perfect for a lunch on the go or a convivial dinner. I love the combination of spicy chicken and fresh avocado, all enhanced by a touch of cilantro and lime. The avocado sauce is creamy and smooth, a real treat! This dish is ideal for using leftover chicken and can be personalized with your favorite spices. A complete and tasty dish that will please the whole family!

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 300 g Chicken breast(s)
  • 2 piece Galettes
  • 2 piece Avocado(s)
  • 2 piece Lime(s)
  • 2 piece Tomato(es)
  • 1 piece Onion(s)
  • 2 clove Clove(s) of garlic
  • 1 bouquet Fresh cilantro
  • 1 tbsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp Ginger powder
  • 1 graine Coriander
  • 1 container Plain yogurt(s)
  • Tabasco
  • Olive oil

Preparation (5 steps)

Preparation of onions and garlic

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Peel and cut the onion in half. Put the onion in the bowl and chop 3 Sek./Stufe 5. Add a little olive oil and a peeled and degermed clove of garlic. Sauté 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Cooking the chicken

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/212°F/Speed 1 100 Reverse

Add the spices (cumin powder, ginger powder, coriander seeds) and the chicken breast cut into pieces in the bowl. Cook 10 Min./100°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf. Add salt and pepper. Set aside the chicken.

Preparation of the avocado sauce

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 8

Open the avocados and take the pulp. Put the avocado pulp in the bowl. Add the juice of the limes, a clove of garlic, the plain yogurt, a few sprigs of fresh cilantro, a drizzle of olive oil and a few drops of Tabasco. Mix 20 Sek./Stufe 8. Add salt and pepper.

Assembly of the tortillas

Spread the avocado sauce on each galette. Add the chicken and onions. Place a few diced tomatoes and a few sprigs of cilantro.

Cooking the tortillas

Roll each galette tightly and secure with a toothpick. Brush with olive oil and sauté in a pan for a few minutes, turning them from time to time. (This step is not done with the Thermomix).
