Description

This chicken with stewed vegetables is a comforting and tasty dish, perfect for autumn evenings. I often prepare it for my family, and it is always very appreciated. The chicken thighs, tender and juicy, soak up the flavors of the vegetables and tomato sauce. The peas bring a touch of freshness and sweetness. It is a complete and balanced dish, easy to prepare with the Thermomix®. Feel free to add other seasonal vegetables, such as carrots or mushrooms, to vary the pleasures. A real delight!

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Chicken thighs
  • 1 piece Pepper
  • 1 brique Tomato purée
  • 250 g Frozen peas
  • 10 cl Dry white wine
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 piece Shallot(s)
  • 1 c. à soupe Liquid cream
  • 1 pinch Thyme
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper

Preparation (6 steps)

Preparation of ingredients

Peel and finely slice 1 shallot and 1 clove of garlic. Cut 1 pepper into dice. Take 250 g of frozen peas out of the freezer. Prick the 4 chicken thighs with a fork.

Chop the shallot and garlic

Put the shallot and garlic in the Thermomix bowl and chop 3 Sec./Stufe 5.

Sear the chicken

Heat a little oil in a large pan. Brown the chicken thighs on all sides with the chopped garlic and shallot. Set aside the chicken.

Cooking the vegetables

In the Thermomix bowl, add the diced pepper, 10 cl of dry white wine, 250 g of frozen peas and 1 carton of tomato purée. Add fresh or dried thyme, salt and pepper.

Stew the chicken and vegetables

45 min/212°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 100 Reverse

Place the seared chicken thighs in the Thermomix bowl with the vegetables. Program 45 Min./100°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf.

Add the cream

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/194°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 90 Reverse

Add 1 tbsp of liquid cream to the bowl and mix 1 Min./90°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf to make the sauce more creamy.
