Description

Colorful and fun dough lollipops, perfect for children's birthdays or as a snack.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 300 g Flour
  • 75 g Icing sugar
  • 1 Stk. Egg (size M)
  • 200 g Margarine
  • 37 g Vanilla pudding powder for cooking
  • 44 g Chocolate pudding powder for cooking
  • 20 Stk. Wooden sticks (e.g. halved shashlik skewers, ice cream sticks or fries pickers)
  • Baking paper

Preparation (6 steps)

Mix flour and icing sugar

Put 300 g flour and 75 g icing sugar into the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec./speed 4.

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Add one egg yolk, the flour-icing sugar mixture and 200 g margarine in small flakes to the mixing bowl and knead for 2 min./kneading stage to form a dough. Use a spatula to push the dough away from the edge.

Divide dough

Remove the dough from the mixing bowl and halve it. Put one half into a separate bowl.

Mix dough with pudding powder

Put one half of the dough with 37 g vanilla pudding powder into the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec./speed 3. Put the other half of the dough with 44 g chocolate pudding powder into the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec./speed 3.

Shape lollipops

For each lollipop biscuit, take a slightly more than hazelnut-sized amount of dough (approx. 15 g) from both doughs, form into a ball and roll into finger-thick (little finger) sausages. Place the rolls on top of each other on the work surface and twist them together by rolling them. It is best to hold the rolls at one end and roll them in a semicircle with the other hand. Roll up the twisted dough roll to form a circular lollipop. Insert a wooden stick into each lollipop.

Bake lollipops

Bake lollipop biscuits on baking trays lined with baking paper in a preheated oven at 180 °C (convection oven: 160 °C) for approx. 15 minutes until they are very lightly browned. Remove from the tray with the baking paper and leave to cool on a wire rack.
