Description

This golden peach jam is a true summer treasure! I prepare it every year when the peaches are at their peak of flavor and aroma. The result is a delicious spreadable cream, perfect for breakfast on a slice of toast or for filling tarts and cakes. Its velvety texture and intense peach flavor make it irresistible. The preparation is simple and quick, but requires a little patience during cooking to obtain the right consistency. A tip? Add a pinch of grated ginger for an exotic touch!

  • Yellow peaches
  • Granulated sugar
  • Lemon juice

Preparation (5 steps)

Peach preparation

Wash the yellow peaches thoroughly and dry them with kitchen paper. This step is essential to remove any impurities.

Cutting the peaches

Remove the skin and pit from the peaches. Cut the pulp into not too large pieces. This will facilitate cooking and subsequent transformation into jam.

First cooking of the peaches

Put the peach pieces in the Thermomix bowl. Add the lemon juice. Cook for 10 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Adding the sugar and final cooking

40 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Gradually add the granulated sugar into the bowl. Cook for 40 Min./100°C/Stufe 1, making sure to mix gently with the spatula from time to time to prevent the jam from sticking to the bottom.

Bottling

Once cooking is complete, the jam is ready to be jarred in sterilized jars. Make sure to close the jars well for optimal preservation.
