Description

These marinated lamb chops are a real delight! I often prepare them for festive meals or barbecues with friends. The marinade, with its mixture of garlic, ginger and herbs from Provence, gives the meat an incredible taste. It is a simple dish to make, but which always impresses. The meat is tender and juicy, and the homemade barbecue sauce is just perfect. Serve with a fresh salad or baked potatoes for a complete and tasty meal. A real treat for the taste buds!

Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 800 g Rack of lamb
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 3 clove Garlic
  • 2 piece Chopped onion(s)
  • 1 c. à soupe Ginger
  • 2 c. à soupe Brown sugar
  • 2 c. à soupe Honey
  • 2 c. à soupe Herbs from provence
  • 2 c. à soupe Mustard
  • 0.5 verre(s) Sherry vinegar
  • 0.5 verre(s) Soya sauce

Preparation of the marinade

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/keine/Speed 4

In the Thermomix bowl, put 3 cloves of garlic and chop them for 3 Sek./Stufe 7. Then add 2 chopped onions, 1 tbsp of ginger, 2 tbsp of brown sugar, 2 tbsp of honey, 2 tbsp of herbs from Provence, 2 tbsp of mustard, 0.5 glass of sherry vinegar and 0.5 glass of soya sauce. Mix everything for 20 Sek./Stufe 4.

Marinating the lamb

Rub the 800 g of rack of lamb with the prepared marinade. Place the meat in a roasting dish and drizzle with a little olive oil. Salt and pepper.

Oven cooking

Preheat your oven to 180°C (Th.6). Bake the lamb in the oven for 10 minutes at 180°C in grill position. (This step is done outside the Thermomix)

Final preparation

Cut the meat into small pieces to make mini-ribs. Serve with a salad or baked apples.
