Description

These country style tartines with duck and beans are a real explosion of flavors! I often prepare them for a Sunday brunch or an aperitif with friends. The combination of melting duck breast and slightly crunchy pink beans is simply divine. The crushed hazelnuts add an extra touch of indulgence. It's a simple dish to make, but it always impresses. Feel free to vary the herbs according to your tastes. A little fresh thyme or rosemary also go very well with duck. Quick preparation, authentic taste – a real treat!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 6 slice Country bread
  • 350 g Pink beans
  • 18 slice Duck breast
  • 30 g Crushed hazelnut(s)
  • 2 tbsp Parsley
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare Beans

Wash the Beans and cut off the ends. Then put in a bowl and set aside.

Cook Beans

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Put 500 ml Water and a pinch of Salt in the mixing bowl. Insert the steamer basket, add the prepared Beans and cook for 15 min./100°C/speed 1.

Cool Beans

After cooking, remove the Beans from the steamer basket, rinse with cold Water and let cool.

Prepare Fagots

Form the cooled Beans into small bundles (Fagots) and place on the Duck breast slices. Drizzle with a little Olive oil.

Roll up Fagots

Wrap the Duck breast slices around the Bean bundles to create small rolls.

Chop nuts

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 5

Put the Hazelnuts in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 5. Transfer and set aside.

Top Tartines

Top the bread slices with the Duck rolls and sprinkle with the chopped Hazelnuts.

Garnish Tartines

Garnish the Tartines with chopped Parsley and serve.
