Description

This creamy oats with caramelized banana and strawberries is a comforting and delicious breakfast that I often prepare. The oats cooked in milk with a touch of vanilla and cinnamon is simply irresistible. The combination with the caramelized fruits gives it a special and sweet touch that everyone at home loves. It is perfect to start the day with energy or as a light and nutritious dessert. Also, it is very easy to prepare and can be adapted to your tastes by adding other fruits or nuts. Go ahead and try it, I assure you you will love it!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 125 gramos Flaked oats
  • 240 mililitros Milk
  • 4 piece Strawberries
  • 1 piece Banana
  • 2 cucharadas soperas Sugar
  • 1 pinch Cinnamon powder
  • 1 cucharada postre Butter
  • 1 chorro Vanilla extract

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare the oats

In the Thermomix bowl, add 125 g of flaked oats, 240 ml of milk, 1 splash of vanilla extract, 1 pinch of cinnamon powder and 1 tablespoon of sugar.

Cook the oats

Thermomix® Setting

Program the Thermomix to cook the oats: 10 Min./90°C/Speed 2.

Prepare the caramelized fruits

While the oats are cooking, cut 4 strawberries and 1 banana into slices. In a separate pan (NOT in the Thermomix), melt 1 dessert spoon of butter over low heat. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar and wait for it to dissolve.

Caramelize the fruits

Add the strawberry and banana slices to the pan with the melted butter and sugar. Cook over very low heat, stirring constantly, until the fruits are soft and caramelized. Remove from heat.

Serve

Serve the hot oats in a bowl and top with the caramelized strawberries and banana. Enjoy this delicious breakfast.
