Description

This creamy almond flan is a classic dessert with a special touch. The ground almond gives it a smooth texture and a delicate flavor that makes it irresistible. It is perfect for any occasion, from a family meal to a special celebration. The preparation is simple and with the Thermomix® it becomes even easier. Go ahead and prepare it and surprise your guests! I always do it when I want a delicious and uncomplicated dessert. A tip: serve it very cold with some laminated almonds on top for a crunchy touch.

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 250 mililitros milk
  • 100 gramos sugar
  • 2 piece eggs
  • 80 gramos ground almond
  • 200 gramos sugar
  • 3 tbsp water

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare the caramel

In a pan over medium heat, add 200 grams of sugar and 3 tablespoons of water. Let the sugar melt slowly and turn into a toasted caramel. Remove from heat and pour immediately into the mold or container to be used for the flan. Let cool and reserve.

Beat the eggs with the sugar

In the Thermomix glass, add 2 eggs and 100 grams of sugar. Beat for 1 Min./Stufe 3.

Add the ground almonds

Thermomix® Setting

Add 80 grams of ground almond to the Thermomix glass. Mix for 30 Seg./Stufe 3.

Incorporate the milk

Thermomix® Setting
30 Seg./Speed 3

Add 250 milliliters of milk to the Thermomix glass. Mix for 30 Seg./Stufe 3.

Pour the mixture into the mold

Carefully pour the mixture into the mold where the liquid caramel is located.

Bake in a water bath

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC. Prepare a baking tray and fill it with water. Introduce the flan mold inside the tray with water and bake for 45 Min./180°C.

Cool and refrigerate

Once baked, remove the flan from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Then, take it to the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.
