Description

This creamy chicken with curry and cashew nuts is a tasty and easy dish to prepare with the Thermomix®. I love its smooth texture and exotic scent.   • 4 piece Chicken fillet
  • 40 cl Coconut milk
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 2 c. à café Curry powder
  • 50 g Cashew nuts
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • Olive oil

Preparation of the onions

Cut the onion in half and put it in the Thermomix bowl. Chop finely for 3 Sec./Level 5.

Add the olive oil to the bowl. Sauté the onions for 3 Min./120°C/Level 1.

Adding and cooking the chicken

Cut the chicken fillets into small dice and add them to the bowl. Cook for 8 Min./100°C/Level 1.

Adding the spices and coconut milk

Add the coconut milk, curry, salt and pepper to the bowl. Mix gently with the spatula.

Cooking the sauce

Cook everything for 12 Min./90°C/Level 1.

Adding the cashew nuts

Coarsely crush the cashew nuts and add them to the bowl. Mix gently with the spatula.

Continue cooking for 5 Min./90°C/Reverse rotation Level 1.
