Description

This curd cake without a base is an absolute classic and super easy to prepare. I have been making it for years and it is always well received because it is so creamy and juicy. The preparation is very simple: put all the ingredients in the Thermomix®, stir and put in the oven. Due to the high proportion of curd, the cake remains particularly juicy and melts in your mouth. If you like, you can mix fresh fruit such as mandarins or cherries into the dough. Perfect for birthdays, coffee parties or just for enjoyment. A real treat!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 1000 g Curd
  • 6 piece Egg(s)
  • 100 g Flour
  • 250 g Margarine
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 0.5 Pck. Baking powder
  • 2 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 1 etwas Lemon juice

Preparation (4 steps)

Mix ingredients

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Speed 4

Add 1 kg curd, 6 eggs, 100 g flour, 250 g margarine, 250 g sugar, 0.5 packets baking powder, 2 packets vanilla sugar and a little lemon juice to the mixing bowl and stir for 30 sec./speed 4.

Fill dough into springform pan

Prepare a 26 cm springform pan (grease or line with baking paper). Pour the dough into the springform pan.

Bake

Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 170 °C top/bottom heat for about 1 hour.

Let cool

After baking, let the cake cool in the switched-off oven so that it does not collapse.
