Description

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 0.66666666666667 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 0.66666666666667 cup white sugar
  • 2 piece eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1.25 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven

Preheat oven to 175°C (350 degrees F). This step is done outside the Thermomix.

Cream butter and sugars

Add 1 cup softened butter, ⅔ cup firmly packed brown sugar, and ⅔ cup white sugar to the mixing bowl. Mix for 2 Min./Stufe 4 until light and fluffy.

Add eggs and vanilla

30 Sec./Speed 3

Add 2 eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract to the mixing bowl. Mix for 30 Sec./Stufe 3 until well combined.

Combine dry ingredients

Add 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg to the mixing bowl. Mix for 20 Sec./Stufe 2 until just combined. Use spatula to scrape down the sides if needed.

Fold in oats and chocolate chips

Add 2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats and 1 cup chocolate chips to the mixing bowl. Mix for 15 Sec./Linkslauf Stufe 2 until just combined. Use spatula to scrape down the sides if needed.

Pour and bake

Pour batter into a 9x12-inch baking pan; sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chips. Bake in the preheated oven until the top is dry and the edges have started to pull away from the sides of the pan, about 40 minutes. This step is done outside the Thermomix.
