Description

These stuffed churros are a delicious treat that I often prepare for my children. The dough is very easy to make with the Thermomix®, and the dulce de leche filling gives it a special touch. They are perfect for a snack or a special breakfast. The key is to fry them until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. A dessert that always triumphs! They are prepared in a short time and are ideal to share with family or friends. Go ahead and try them, you will love them!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 2.5 cdas sugar
  • 0.5 cdts salt
  • 2 cdas sunflower oil
  • 1 l oil for frying
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 200 g Dulce de leche for filling

3

Prepare the dough for frying

Remove the dough from the bowl and place it in a pastry bag with a curly nozzle. Heat plenty of oil for frying in a pot or fryer over medium-high heat.

4

Fry the churros

Press the pastry bag to form the churros directly over the hot oil, cutting them with scissors to the desired size. Fry until golden brown on all sides, approximately 2-3 minutes per batch.

5

Drain and fill

Remove the fried churros from the oil and place them on kitchen paper to remove excess fat. If you have a filling gun, use it to insert the dulce de leche. If not, you can use the same pastry bag with a long nozzle or simply spread them with the dulce de leche.

6

Serve

Mix ½ cup of sugar in a bowl. Pass the stuffed churros through the sugar so that they are well covered. Serve warm and enjoy.
