Description

This spicy ground turkey crumble is a flavorful and quick dish that's perfect for meal prepping or a fast weeknight dinner. Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 3 piece dried red chile peppers
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp red chile powder
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp crushed dried oregano
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 0.75 tsp white sugar
  • 0.5 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1.25 pounds extra-lean ground turkey breast
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 0.5 piece lime, juiced
  • 0.25 piece orange, juiced

Grind Dried Chile Peppers

Add the 3 dried red chile peppers to the Thermomix and grind until coarsely ground. 10 Sec./Stufe 10

Combine Seasonings

In a large bowl, combine the ground chile peppers, 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 2 tbsp red chile powder, 1 tbsp water, 1 tbsp crushed dried oregano, 2 tsp salt, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 tsp cumin seeds, ¾ tsp white sugar, and ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper; mix well. Add 1 ¼ pounds extra-lean ground turkey breast; mix until seasonings are well-incorporated.

Cook Seasoned Turkey

Heat 2 tsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add seasoned turkey; cook, stirring frequently to break up clumps, until no longer pink, 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in ½ lime juice and ¼ orange juice. Continue cooking until browned, about 5 minutes more.
