Description

  • 500 ml carrots, peeled and diced

  • 750 ml MontJacob, grated
  • 60 ml 35% cream
  • 500 ml poultry stock
  • 30 ml flour

  • 450 g minced veal
  • 450 g minced beef
  • 1 piece onion, minced
  • 30 ml fresh thyme, minced
  • 250 ml white mushrooms, minced
  • 125 ml butter
  • 30 ml butter

Preparation of the vegetables

Put the frozen small peas, the peeled and diced carrots, the salt, the pepper and the peeled and cubed potatoes in the Thermomix bowl. Also add the cauliflower cut into pieces. Cook 20 Min./100°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf.

Preparation of the cheese sauce

Remove the cooked vegetables and set aside. In the Thermomix bowl, put 750 ml of grated Mont-Jacob, 60 ml of 35% cream, 500 ml of poultry stock and 30 ml of flour. Mix 5 Min./90°C/Stufe 3.

Preparation of the meat

Remove the cheese sauce and set aside. Mince 1 onion in the Thermomix bowl 3 Sek./Stufe 5. Add 30 ml of butter and brown 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Cooking the meat

Remove the onion and set aside. In a frying pan, brown 450 g of minced pork, 450 g of minced veal and 450 g of minced beef until cooked. Add the browned onion, 30 ml of minced fresh thyme and 250 ml of minced white mushrooms. Salt and pepper.

Assembly of the gratin

In a large gratin dish, mix the cooked vegetables, the cooked meat and the cheese sauce. Sprinkle with 30 ml of butter in pieces.

Oven cooking

Cook in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes, or until the gratin is golden and bubbling.
