Description

This exotic curried sliced meat is an absolute highlight when you need something quick! The combination of tender poultry, fruity pineapple and banana, rounded off with a creamy curry sauce, is simply irresistible. I like to make it when I have little time but still want to put something special on the table. Rice or pasta goes well with it. If you like it a little spicier, you can use half a chilli pepper more. A great dish for the whole family!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 3 piece Turkey cutlet
  • 1 can Pineapple
  • 2 piece Banana(s)
  • 1 piece Onion(s)
  • 0.5 piece Chili pepper
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • to taste Curry powder
  • Whipping cream

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop onion and chili pepper

Peel the onion, halve it and put it in the mixing bowl with half the chili pepper. Chop for 3 seconds/speed 5.

Sauté onion and chili pepper

Add 3 tablespoons of oil and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Fry meat

Wash the meat, pat it dry and cut it into bite-sized pieces. Fry the meat in a pan with a little oil until browned and season with salt and pepper. Then add to the onion-chili pepper mixture in the mixing bowl.

Add pineapple and bananas

Drain the pineapple, collecting the juice, and cut the pineapple into bite-sized pieces. Peel the bananas and cut into slices. Add pineapple, bananas and the collected pineapple juice to the mixing bowl.

Simmer curried sliced meat

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Add salt, pepper and curry powder to taste and simmer for 10 min./100°C/speed 1.

Refine with cream

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/194°F/Gentle stir speed 90

Add some whipping cream to taste and stir in for 1 min./90°C/gentle stir setting.
