Description

This Asian salad with chicken and clementines is a real treat! I often prepare it for lunch because it's quick to make and full of flavors. The grilled chicken goes perfectly with the freshness of the clementines and the crunchiness of the nuts. The soy sauce, orange juice and honey provide an irresistible sweet and savory touch. It is a perfect salad for sunny days, light and refreshing. Feel free to vary the citrus fruits depending on the season, for example with tangerines or blood oranges. A real treat!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 6 piece Chicken scallop
  • 400 g Chinese noodles
  • 1 piece Salad
  • 10 piece Clementine
  • 50 g Nuts
  • Water
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Orange juice
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • to taste Pepper

Preparation (6 steps)

Chicken in strips

Cut the 6 chicken scallops into thin strips. Set aside.

Cooking the noodles

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Put 1000 ml of water in the Thermomix bowl and heat for 10 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Adding the noodles

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/212°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 100 Reverse

Add 400 g of Chinese noodles to the bowl and cook according to the instructions on the package. Generally, it takes about 5 Min./100°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf.

Preparing the sauce

In a bowl, mix 3 tbsp of soy sauce, 2 tbsp of orange juice and 2 tbsp of honey. Set aside.

Assembling the salad

Place a layer of salad at the bottom of the plate. Add a portion of cooked Chinese noodles on top. Finally, arrange the chicken, the 50 g of nuts as well as the segments of 10 clementines.

Seasoning

Season everything with the soy sauce mixed with orange juice and honey. Pepper according to your taste.
