Description

These fairy kisses are delicate cookies from the Thermomix®, refined with Toffifee. The recipe includes flour, sugar, egg yolks and butter. Preparation takes about 120 minutes and yields 40 servings. Ideal as festive finger food, Christmas cookies or sweet dessert. Suitable for anyone who enjoys baking and loves special cookies.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 160 g Flour
  • 60 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 piece Egg yolks
  • 100 g Soft butter
  • 3 Packungen Toffifee
  • 3 piece Egg whites
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 150 g Sugar

Preparation (9 steps)

Mix flour, sugar and salt

Thermomix® Setting

Put 160 g flour, 60 g sugar and 1 pinch of salt into the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec./speed 4.

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting

Add 2 egg yolks and 100 g soft butter to the flour mixture in the mixing bowl. Knead with the Patix dough knife for 2 min./kneading level to a homogeneous dough.

Chill dough

Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

Preheat oven

Preheat the oven to 150 °C circulating air (170°C top/bottom heat).

Roll out and cut out dough

After cooling, roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to approx. 0.5 cm thick and cut out circles. The circles should be a little bigger than a Toffifee.

Cover dough circles

Place the dough circles on baking trays lined with baking paper and place a Toffifee (or alternatively a piece of chocolate) with the top side down on the circles.

Whisk egg whites until stiff

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/Speed 3.5

Put 3 egg whites and 1 pinch of salt into the mixing bowl. Insert the butterfly and whisk until stiff for 3 min./speed 3.5. Gradually sprinkle in 150 g of sugar.

Pipe meringue

Fill the meringue into a piping bag with a large nozzle and pipe small caps over the Toffifees.

Bake fairy kisses

Now bake the fairy kisses for approx. 18-20 minutes. Then let it cool down completely.
