Description

This letter cake is a creative and delicious way to celebrate any special occasion. The crunchy shortcrust pastry base, combined with a smooth and sweet cream, and decorated with fresh fruit and chocolate pieces, makes it an irresistible dessert. I often prepare it for birthdays and it is always a success. The cream is very easy to make with the Thermomix®, and the decoration is totally customizable. You can use your favorite seasonal fruits, different types of chocolate, or even edible flowers. Go ahead and try it, you will love it! It is perfect for sharing and enjoying in good company.

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 1 piece shortcrust pastry
  • 250 g unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 2 tarrinas natural cream cheese
  • 5 cucharadas icing sugar
  • seasonal fruits
  • small chocolates

Preparation (4 steps)

Prepare the shortcrust pastry and bake the letter

Preheat the oven to 120-130°C. Roll out the shortcrust pastry and cut out the desired letter using a template. Place the letter on a baking tray and bake for 20-30 minutes, or until golden brown. Watch closely so it does not burn. Let cool completely before decorating.

Prepare the cream

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Speed 4

Place 250 g of unsalted butter at room temperature and 5-6 tablespoons of icing sugar in the Thermomix bowl. Beat 2 Min./Stufe 4 until a whitish cream is obtained.

Incorporate the cream cheese

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Speed 4

Add 2 tubs of cold natural cream cheese to the Thermomix bowl. Beat 2 Min./Stufe 4 until all ingredients are well integrated.

Decorate the cake

Place the cream in a piping bag with the desired nozzle. Decorate the shortcrust pastry base with mounds of cream. If you want to make two floors, place another layer of shortcrust pastry on top and repeat the cream decoration. Garnish to taste with seasonal fruits and chocolate pieces.
