Description

Fine almond crescent cookies are a delicious Thermomix® recipe for the Christmas season, based on flour, almonds, sugar and margarine. Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 200 g Flour
  • 75 g fine Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 100 g Almonds (ground)
  • 150 g Margarine (at room temperature)
  • 2 piece Egg yolks
  • 3 tbsp fine Sugar with Vanilla aroma
  • 1 piece Baking paper

Mix dry ingredients

Add 200 g flour, 75 g fine sugar, 1 packet vanilla sugar and 100 g ground almonds to the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec/speed 4.

Prepare dough

Add 150 g margarine at room temperature in small flakes and 2 egg yolks and knead for 2 min/kneading level to a smooth dough.

Cool dough

Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.

Preheat oven

Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat (convection: 160 °C). Line baking trays with baking paper.

Shape and bake crescent cookies

Shape the dough into thin rolls. Cut small pieces from the roll and form into crescents. Place on the prepared baking trays and bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until light yellow.

Roll crescent cookies

Turn the still hot crescent cookies in a mixture of 3 tbsp fine sugar with vanilla aroma.
