Description

This flatbread, inspired by Indian cuisine, is an absolute highlight! I love making it because it's so versatile. It goes perfectly with curry dishes or simply with a delicious dip. The preparation is super easy and the Thermomix® makes the dough in no time. The yogurt makes the bread particularly soft and fluffy. A little tip: Brush with some melted butter before baking - this makes it even more aromatic. Be sure to try it, it tastes simply delicious!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 30 g Yogurt
  • 125 g Water, lukewarm
  • 1 etwas Butter

Preparation (5 steps)

Mix dry ingredients

Put 250 g flour, 1 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp salt into the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 4.

Knead dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Add 30 g yogurt and 125 g lukewarm water and knead to a dough for 2 min/kneading stage.

Let the dough rest

Remove the dough from the mixing bowl, cover with a film and let rest for 60 minutes.

Portion and shape dough

Divide the dough into 6 portions. Roll out each portion into a flatbread and spread thinly with some butter. Then fold it once with the buttered side facing outwards and roll it out flat again.

Bake flatbread

Heat a hot pan without additional fat. Bake each side of the flatbread for about one minute.
