Description

These chocolate giant cookies from the Thermomix® are a delicious dessert or finger food, ideal for festive occasions. The main ingredients are margarine, brown sugar, egg, flour and baking cocoa. Refined with dark chocolate and cooking cream, the cookies are a treat for chocolate lovers. The preparation takes a total of 42 minutes, with the active working time being about 20 minutes. The recipe yields one serving.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 125 g Margarine
  • 100 g Brown sugar
  • 1 Stück Egg (size M)
  • 150 g Flour
  • 25 g Baking cocoa (cocoa powder weakly de-oiled, unsweetened)
  • 100 g Dark chocolate
  • 50 g Cooking cream 15% fat
  • Sweets
  • Baking paper

Preparation (8 steps)

Preheat oven and prepare springform pan

Preheat the oven to 200 °C (convection: 180 °C). Line a springform pan with baking paper. No Thermomix setting required.

Beat margarine, sugar and egg until creamy

Put 125 g margarine, 100 g brown sugar and 1 egg (size M) in the mixing bowl and beat creamy for 2 min/speed 4.

Stir in flour and cocoa

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/keine/Speed 3

Add 150 g flour and 25 g baking cocoa and stir in for 20 sec/speed 3 until a smooth dough is formed.

Chop and fold in chocolate

Coarsely chop 100 g dark chocolate. Transfer the dough to a bowl and fold in the chopped chocolate with a spatula. Place the dough in the springform pan and spread with a spoon, leaving a gap of approx. 2 cm to the edge of the pan. No Thermomix setting required.

Bake cookie

Place the springform pan in the preheated oven and bake for approx. 22 minutes. No Thermomix setting required.

Let cookie cool

Let the giant cookie cool in the pan for another 10 minutes and then on a wire rack. No Thermomix setting required.

Prepare chocolate glaze

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Break 50 g dark chocolate into pieces and place in the mixing bowl together with 50 g cooking cream. Melt for 3 min/50°C/speed 2.

Decorate cookie

Spread the glaze over the cooled giant cookie. Decorate the cookie with sweets according to your taste and let the glaze harden. No Thermomix setting required.
