Description

Delicious vegan chocolate cake, perfect for birthdays or coffee breaks.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 160 g Wheat flour Type 405
  • 1 tsp Cream of tartar baking powder
  • 40 g Baking cocoa
  • 220 g Sugar
  • 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Prise(n) Salt
  • 80 ml Sunflower oil
  • 200 ml Soy drink
  • 100 g Vegan dark chocolate
  • Fat for the springform pan
  • Powdered sugar

Preparation (5 steps)

Mix dry ingredients

Put 160 g wheat flour type 405, 1 tsp cream of tartar baking powder, 40 g baking cocoa, 220 g sugar, 1 packet vanilla sugar and 1 pinch of salt into the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/level 4.

Add and mix liquid ingredients

Add 80 ml sunflower oil and 200 ml soy drink to the dry ingredients in the mixing bowl and stir for 20 sec/level 3 to a smooth dough.

Chop and fold in chocolate

Coarsely chop 100 g vegan dark chocolate. Pour the dough from the mixing bowl into a bowl and carefully fold in the chopped chocolate.

Baking

Grease a small springform pan (16 cm diameter) with fat. Pour the dough into the springform pan and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C top/bottom heat for 35-40 minutes. Do a chopstick test!

Cool and Serve

Remove the finished cake from the oven and let it cool completely. Then remove from the mold and serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.
