Description

This juicy chocolate cake is an absolute delight for all chocolate lovers! It is not only vegan, but also incredibly easy to prepare - perfect for birthdays, coffee parties or just when the chocolate craving calls. The combination of cocoa and dark chocolate provides an intense chocolate flavor, while the soy drink keeps the cake nice and juicy. I have been baking this cake for some time and it is always very well received. A real classic that is guaranteed to succeed!

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 160 g Wheat flour Type 405
  • 1 tsp Cream of tartar baking powder
  • 40 g Baking cocoa
  • 220 g Sugar
  • 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Prise(n) Salt
  • 80 ml Sunflower oil
  • 200 ml Soy drink
  • 100 g Vegan dark chocolate
  • Fat for the springform pan
  • Powdered sugar

Preparation (5 steps)

Mix dry ingredients

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 4

160 g Wheat flour Type 405, 1 tsp Cream of tartar baking powder, 40 g Baking cocoa, 220 g Sugar, 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar and 1 pinch Salt in the mixing bowl and 10 sec./level 4 mix.

Add and mix liquid ingredients

20 sec/Speed 3

Add 80 ml Sunflower oil and 200 ml Soy drink to the dry ingredients in the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec./level 3 to a smooth dough.

Chop and fold in chocolate

Coarsely chop 100 g vegan dark chocolate. Transfer the dough from the mixing bowl to a bowl and carefully fold in the chopped chocolate.

Bake

Grease a small springform pan (16 cm diameter) with fat. Pour the dough into the springform pan and bake in the preheated oven at 175°C top/bottom heat for 35-40 minutes. Do a toothpick test!

Cool and serve

Remove the finished cake from the oven and let it cool completely. Then remove from the mold and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
