Description

This lavender ice cream is an absolute dream for anyone who loves something special! I especially like to make it in the summer when the lavender is blooming in the garden. The delicate flowers give the ice cream an incredibly fine, floral note that harmonizes perfectly with the sweetness. It is super easy to prepare and tastes simply delicious. Perfect as a refreshing dessert or for a special occasion. If you like, you can serve some fresh berries with it. An absolute favorite recipe!

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 1 tsp Lavender Blossoms
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 8 piece Egg Yolk
  • 250 g Sweet Cream

Preparation (5 steps)

Make lavender sugar

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 10

Put 1 tsp of lavender blossoms and 200 g of sugar into the mixing bowl and pulverize for 20 sec./speed 10.

Dissolve lavender sugar in milk

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/99°F/Speed 2 37

Add 250 ml of milk to the lavender sugar in the mixing bowl and stir for 2 min./37°C/speed 2 until the sugar has completely dissolved.

Mix egg yolks and cream

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Add 8 egg yolks and 250 g of sweet cream to the mixing bowl and stir for 20 sec./speed 3.

Prepare ice cream mixture

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 2

Add the lavender milk to the egg yolk-cream mixture in the mixing bowl and stir for 10 sec./speed 2.

Ice cream maker

Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and process into ice cream according to the manufacturer's instructions.
