Description

This lacquered chicken is a real treat! I have been preparing this recipe for years and it is always a sensation. The chicken drumsticks are marinated in a tasty sauce made with Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce and honey, which gives them an irresistible sweet and salty flavor. The marinade makes the meat incredibly tender and juicy. It is a perfect dish for a convivial dinner or a special occasion. The preparation is simple and quick, but the result is worthy of a great chef! Serve it with crispy fries or a fresh salad for a complete and balanced meal.

  • Vegetables
  • 2 c à s Neutral oil
  • 2 c à s Honey
  • 4 c à s Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 c à s Soy sauce
  • 8 Chicken drumsticks

Preparation of the marinade

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

In the Thermomix bowl, pour 4 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, 12 tbsp of soy sauce, 2 tbsp of honey and 2 tbsp of neutral oil. Add pepper according to your taste. Mix everything for 10 Sek./Stufe 3.

Marinating the chicken

Pour the marinade into a salad bowl. Add the 8 chicken drumsticks and coat them well with marinade. Let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, ideally 1 hour, regularly basting the drumsticks and turning them so that they are well soaked.

Baking

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place a sheet of baking paper on a baking sheet. Place the marinated chicken drumsticks on the plate, making sure not to overlap them. Pour the rest of the marinade over the chicken. Bake for about 30 minutes, regularly basting the drumsticks with the marinade and turning them halfway through cooking for even cooking.
