Description

This gluten-free low carb bread is a great alternative for those who want to avoid gluten and carbohydrates. It is vegan and high in protein, ideal for a healthy diet. Preparation with the Thermomix® is quick and easy. The bread is perfect for breakfast or as a snack.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 200 g Almonds, ground
  • 40 g Psyllium husk
  • 130 g Sunflower seeds
  • 3 EL Pumpkin seeds, chopped
  • 1 TL Coconut oil
  • 1 EL Baking powder
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 275 g Lukewarm water

Preparation (5 steps)

Preheat oven

Preheat oven to 185°C.

Grind almonds

Add 200g almonds to the mixing bowl and grind for 10 sec/speed 10.

Mix ingredients

Add 40g psyllium husk, 130g sunflower seeds, 3 tbsp pumpkin seeds, 1 tsp coconut oil, 1 tbsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt and 275g lukewarm water to the mixing bowl with the ground almonds.

Knead dough

Knead the dough for 3 min/knead setting.

Shape and bake bread

Shape the bread loaf and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven at 185°C for 50 minutes on the middle rack. Then turn off the oven and bake the bread loaf in the oven at 210°C for about 60 minutes on the lowest rack.
